The Global Coalition on Deinstitutionalization (GC-DI) is a unique partnership of representative organizations of persons with disabilities and civil society organisations committed to promoting the right to independent living and inclusion in the community of persons with disabilities worldwide.
GC-DI is formed of eight organisations, who are working collectively to support the work of the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons and their efforts to develop Guidelines on Deinstitutionalization, including in emergencies.
